What is this class?
Writing with sensitivity is crucial in creating inclusive, respectful, and authentic stories that resonate with diverse audiences. This six-week course is designed to guide poets, writers, authors, and other conscious creators through the prewriting stages and beyond, with a focus on writing with greater awareness and empathy to their own experiences and the experiences of other creators and consumers of their works throughout cultures, time periods, and spaces of existence both real and fictional.

Each week includes specific topics, activities, workshops, and resources to enhance your writing practice. I will also have a guest panel of diverse voices in writing representing specific topics as an added bonus.
